WARN 5721 WINCH REBUILD

This is the WARN 5721 winch after my rebuild. The winch was not in bad shape at when I got it. The cable was junk and it was leaking a little oil. My motivation was to take the winch apart, replace the seals and gaskets, and install on the jeep.

This is my first electric winch. I have three other winches, but two are PTO driven and one I converted to hydraulic. I was pretty excited to finally have a WARN winch.

I started by draining the oil, and then breaking the seal on the side of the case. The 5721 is the grandfather to the renowned 8724. Similar case and gear setup.
